The Problem
Most landing pages are rewritten for the wrong reason. The owner changes the headline a fourth time when the real issue is the traffic, the opening, or a claim nobody can back. This book starts with the check that tells you whether the page is even the problem.
The page converts the traffic it is given. No headline rescues a visitor who should never have arrived.
The 7-Block Landing Page Formula
First the MATCH check: where the visitor clicked, what they already know, and what they were just promised. Then 7 blocks, in the same order as the 6-section page anatomy in our Marketing 101 textbook.
- Block 1: HERO. A headline that repeats the ad's promise, one subhead, one button.
- Block 2: STORY. About 100 true words that turn a stranger warm.
- Block 3: PROBLEM. Their situation, in their words, as scenes.
- Block 4: OFFER. A specific next step. A price next to an item only if you really sell it at that price.
- Block 5: PROOF. Real, permitted, checkable.
- Block 6: HOW IT WORKS. Numbered steps, including the ones rivals skip.
- Block 7: CLOSE. Questions answered, a guarantee you can afford, real capacity, the same button again.

From Chapter 1
Before you open any analytics, write down your guess. How many enquiries did this page bring in over the last 30 days? Now count the real number: forms that arrived in an inbox, calls a person answered. Not a page view of the thank-you page.
Then open the ad that sends most of your traffic and copy its promise word for word. That promise is the first thing your headline must repeat. A visitor who clicked on "same-day" and lands on "Quality Service Since 1998" thinks they are in the wrong place.
Questions
Will this tell me what conversion rate to aim for?
No. It shows you how to measure your own baseline per traffic source and compare against it at 30 and 90 days. Published averages mix businesses that have nothing in common with yours.
I only get a few hundred visitors a month. Can I still test?
Yes, honestly. The book works the sample-size arithmetic, shows how many months a real test would take on your traffic, and what to do instead: fix defects, test big differences, run before-and-after periods and label small results as directional.
I am a lawyer, injector or dentist. Can I paste the template as is?
No. Those three templates carry a regulated trade box with the questions to take to your bar or board before you publish. It is not legal advice.
Who This Is For
A small business owner who sends ads, search or social traffic to a page, writes the copy without a copywriter, and gets a few hundred to a few thousand visitors a month.
